Winnetonka High School filled the gym today with a sea of pink shirts. They raised $5,300 towards a research grant at the University of Kansas Medical Center, funded by the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Organization. Watch the assembly tonight on Metro Sports at 10:00 PM. Great Day To Be A Griffin!
Our very own, Coach Alvarado donated her hair to help raise money. She was one of 5 teachers along with Winnetonka Senior, DeAndre Thomas, that cut their hair at the school assembly.
